WHAT CAN BE SOLD ON SOKONISTORE.COM? is a unique marketplace as shoppers come here to purchase items that they might not find anywhere else. Everything listed for sale on must follow the below criteria.

Made and/or designed by you, the seller. 

  1. All handmade items are made or designed by you. If you work with a production partner, you must disclose that production partner in your relevant listings.

  2. You accurately describe every person involved in the making of an item in your description of the product.

  3. You are using your own photographs—not stock photos, artistic renderings, or photos used by other sellers or sites. 


Even if they otherwise meet our marketplace criteria, prohibited itemsservices, and items that violate our policies are not allowed to be sold on 

All products sold must be safe and family friendly. The sale of the following products or services are prohibited: Alcohol; Weapons; Drugs or drug paraphernalia; Nudity or sexually explicit ; Gender, political or racially sensitive. If there is the sale of any prohibited items , the Seller will be removed from the market with no refund.

If your item is described as being handmade, reselling of those items are not allowed on Reselling refers to listing an item as handmade when you were not involved in designing or making that item.

Keep in mind that other sellers or customers may flag listings that appear to violate our policies for's review. may remove any listings that violate our policies. Note that membership fees are non-refundable. may also suspend or terminate your account for any violations. You’ll still be on the hook to pay any outstanding fees on your account.. 


At, we value transparency. Transparency means that you honestly and accurately represent yourself, your items, and your business.

By selling on, you agree that you will:

  1. Provide honest, accurate information in your about your product and business. 

  2. Honor your business policies and terms (ie shipping, price, return policy, etc)

  3. Accurately represent your items in listings and listing photos.

  4. Respect the intellectual property laws 

  5. Not engage in fee avoidance. 

    • Fee avoidance is any action by a seller to avoid paying a fee. This is strictly prohibited by This includes, for example, encouraging buyers to purchase an item in your shop through another venue. A transaction initiated on may not be completed off of The price stated in each listing description must be an accurate representation of the sale. Sellers may not alter the item's price after a sale for the purpose of avoiding transaction fees, misrepresent the item’s location, or use another user's account without permission.

  6. Not create duplicate shops or take any other action (such as manipulating clicks, carts or sales) for the purpose of manipulating search or circumventing policies.

  7. Not coordinate pricing with other sellers.


You are responsible for protecting customer's personal information you receive or process, and you must comply with all relevant legal requirements. This includes applicable data protection and privacy laws that govern the ways in which you can use user information. These laws may require that you post and comply with your own privacy policy, which must be accessible to users with whom you interact. Your privacy policy must be compatible with this policy and's Terms of Use.

In particular, when you sell using our Services (subject to this Policy), you may receive and determine what to do with certain personal information, such as when communicating with users and entering into transactions with buyers. This means you process personal information (for example, buyer name, email address, and shipping address) and, to the extent you do so, you are an independent controller of data relating to other users that you may have obtained through the Services. You are responsible for protecting user personal information you receive or process and complying with all relevant legal requirements when you use the Services. 


We expect our sellers to provide a high level of customer service. By selling on, you agree to:

  1. Honor your shipping and processing times. Sellers are obligated to ship an item within 4 business days of order placed.. 

  2. Respond to any customer services questions in a timely manner, either via phone or email.

  3. Honor the commitments you make in your brand policies and terms.

  4. Resolve disagreements or disputes directly with the buyer. 

  5. If you are unable to complete an order, you must notify the to cancel the order. 

  6. Ensure that all product changes (ie images, colors, discontinuations, out of stocks, etc) are immediately communicated with, so information can be updated in a timely manner on the site. 



If you are unable to complete a transaction, you must notify prior to the date promised to ship and we will cancel the transaction. We will issue a full refund. 



A non-delivery occurs when a buyer places an order but does not receive the item. The following are examples of non-delivery cases:

  1. There is no proof that the item was shipped to the buyer.

  2. An item was not sent to the address provided on

Seller is responsible for shipments and must retain evidence and confirmation of all shipments in the event a dispute arises. 


Not as Described

An item is not as described if the buyer can demonstrate that it is significantly different from your listing description or your photos. The following are examples of not as described cases:

  1. The item received is a different color, model, version, or size.

  2. The item has a different design or material.

  3. The seller failed to disclose that an item is damaged or is missing parts.

  4. The buyer received the incorrect quantity of items (e.g., the buyer purchased three items but only received two).

  5. The item was advertised as authentic but is not authentic.

  6. The condition of the item is misrepresented (e.g., the item is described as new but is used).


Not as Described cases can also apply to late deliveries. In order to qualify as late delivery, the buyer must provide proof that all of these conditions have been met:

  1. The item(s) were ordered for a specific date or event.

  2. The item(s) are rendered useless after that date.

  3. The seller did not ship the item(s) according to their processing time or the date agreed upon in Brand policies.

 If determines that an item is not as described, you will be required to refund the order, including original shipping and return shipping.


Ineligible Transactions

Some disputes don’t qualify for disputes. These include:

  1. Items that are damaged by the shipping carrier (if properly packaged by the seller).

  2. Items that have been altered, used, worn, washed, or discarded after receipt.

  3. Items that are received after the agreed-upon delivery date due to shipping delays.

  4. Items that are returned without a return agreement.

  5. Items that are accurately described but don’t meet a buyer's expectations.

  6. Cost of shipping disputes.

  7. Items that are purchased in person.

  8. Items prohibited from sale on, including services and intangible goods.

  9. Transactions where payment is not made via checkout system.

When a dispute is ineligible, we encourage both parties to work together to come to an amicable solution.

Processing Times

To give buyers a clear understanding of how long it takes for you to ship an order, you will include a processing time. Processing times must be less than 5 days. Costs and processing times are shown on individual product listing pages.


Estimated Shipping Times

You can Add estimated shipping time to let buyers know how long it will take an item to reach various destinations. Try to include an accurate range to take into account the slowest shipping time and fastest shipping time.

Sellers are responsible for shipping their sold items to buyers. If you're using a shipping or fulfillment service, please keep in mind that you are ultimately responsible for making sure that your buyers receive their orders.

By selling on, you agree to:

A. Provide an accurate "ships from" address.
B. Specify your shipping costs and processing times in your listings.
C. Ship items promptly after they are sold. Prompt shipping means that you ship each item within 5 days of purchase. 
D. Comply with all local and international shipping and customs regulations. We know that shipping and customs regulations can be tough to read, so check out these Help articles on international shipping using United States Postal Service (USPS).
E. Ship to the address listed on the receipt.
F. Mark the order as shipped when you ship it,  which automatically marks your order as shipped. Remember that you may only mark an order as shipped after you actually have shipped it. When you mark an order as shipped, the buyer will receive a notification.
G. Charge an appropriate amount for shipping. US Sellers can use calculated shipping to have shipping costs calculated automatically.

By entering tracking information or delivery confirmation on you're giving us permission to collect and share this data received from your chosen shipping carrier with the buyer.

In the unlikely event an order does not arrive, be prepared to provide valid proof of shipping. Valid proof of shipping must show that the item actually was shipped and that it was sent to the address provided from If a buyer does not receive their order, you will need to resolve that issue directly with the buyer. 



You must have a Returns and Exchanges policy. has a sitewide policy that customers will need to contact the marketplace within 7 business days of delivery to request a return/exchange.  

In the event of a return or exchange, Buyers will contact and we will connect them directly to the Seller to resolve the issue.

Fees & Payments


Sellers may be required to pay the following types of fees. 

Membership Fee

You will be charged a membership fee of $70.00 USD each year to get access to all member benefits and services. This includes the listing fees for up to 10 new items, access to educational courses, customer service and all other features and benefits listed on the website. This amount will ne prorated based on start date as the membership fees are based on a calendar year (January1st  - December 31st)


For items already listed under your brand, there are no additional listing fees to keep those listed. There is no fee for editing a listing. You will be charged a listing fee whether or not the listed item sells.


Memberships expire December 31st. It's important to note that listing fees are non-refundable.

Transaction Fees

When you make a sale through, you will be charged a transaction fee of 5% of the price you display for each listing plus the amount you charge for shipping and gift wrapping.

Processing Fees

When you make a sales through you will be charged a transaction fee of 3.3% of the price you display for listings plus the amount you charge for shipping and gift wrapping. 


Advertising and Promotional Fees offers multiple services to help you advertise your listings and promote your products. Advertising and promotional fees vary by opportunity and will be clearly outlined before you commit to purchasing an ad. 


Shipping Fees

Buyers pay the shipping fees, not the Seller. 

Paying your Fees

Your membership fees are paid when you either begin or renew your membership. This will be paid directly from the Seller to  


Your transaction and processing fees will be dedicated from the balance of the transaction before bing paid out to the Seller. 


All transactions are paid to Any transaction fees, processing fees or outstanding balances will be deducted prior to pay out. 

Payouts will be released 7 days after the scheduled delivery. Buyers have 7 days post receipt to dispute any issues or request a return/ exchange. 



Aside from the limited circumstances set out below, you are responsible for collecting and paying any taxes associated with using and making sales through’s services. will issue 1099-K forms to certain sellers to comply with IRS and state requirements. You may opt in at any time to receive your 1099-K form electronically. 

If you sell physical goods on, you may utilize our sales tax tool to calculate the tax owed on each sale.
